Worshipping Joyfully

Worship is the heartbeat of our life in faith. We are grounded in gratitude to God and affirm God's inclusive love known through Jesus Christ. In worship we engage God's word in Scripture, preaching, music, and prayer. We respond to God's grace through offering our time, talent, and treasure. Worship is the spiritual practice that keeps our lives in focus.

The Nursery at Sharon Presbyterian

8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the Nursery

The nursery is located off of the Narthex beside the restrooms of the Sanctuary. All children, infants to four years old, are welcome in the nursery.

9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in various locations

Sunday school for all ages, from preschool to adults, is available to delve more deeply into God’s word and teachings.

Traditional Worship Service

10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary

This worship service is “traditional” in style and structure, and every service includes Biblically-based sermons, prayer, and beautiful music that inspires. At times, you’ll experience the sweet musical talent of our children and youth or inspiration from a guest musician.

What to expect? Many come in their Sunday best, but you will often find congregation members dressed more casually.

Children's Worship

During the 10:30 a.m. Traditional Worship Service

in the Chapel

Young children, ages 3 through kindergarten, are invited to a special worship time in the Kingdom Kids classroom in the Barbara Ward Building.

One of our Children's Worship leaders will lead the children there right after the Children's Sermon, and parents/guardians can meet them in the upstairs classroom of the Chapel Building after the 10:30 service ends.

Please sign your child in at the children's worship table located in the Narthex. Don't forget to sign your child out when you pick them up!
